Hire Vets First Campaign:The President’s National Hire Veterans Committee, in
cooperation with the U. S. Department of Labor’s (DOL)

DOL Launches New elaws Advisor to Assist Transitioning
Service Members’ Efforts to Find Employment: The elaws
REALifelines Advisor
The Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, with
the assistance of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy, has
developed a new interactive Web-based tool - the elaws Recovery and
Employment Assistance Lifelines (REALifelines) Advisor – to assist wounded
and injured service members and veterans successfully transition into the
civilian workforce.Available at www.dol.gov/elaws/realifelines.htm , the
REALifelines Advisor provides access to valuable online resources and
contact information for one-on-one assistance through the Department’s state
Directors for Veterans' Employment and Training (DVETs). The DVETs help
transitioning service members and veterans find meaningful employment and/or
arrange for assistance to help determine what services and programs are best
suited to facilitate their successful transition to civilian employment.
