FY’09 -’10 Strategic and Operational Plan Modification
Under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
The Permian Basin Workforce Development Board (PBWDB) issues this public notice announcing the availability of its proposed Strategic and Operational Plan Modification for public comment. PBWDB is responsible for the implementation of workforce development programs throughout the Permian Basin workforce development area, which includes the following Texas counties: Andrews, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Loving, Martin, Midland, Pecos, Reeves, Terrell, Upton, Ward, and Winkler.Available to the public is the PBWDB proposed Strategic and Operational Plan Modification for Fiscal Years 2009-2010 (FY’09-’10), which covers a two-year period from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2011. The public comment period begins Friday, May 22, 2009 and ends Monday, June 22, 2009. The public may also attend the PBWDB open meeting, Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at 10:00a.m.at the ATMOS Energy Community Building to voice any public comments regarding the proposed Plan Modification.The public may access the proposed Plan Modification Monday-Friday, 8a.m.-12p.m. and 1p.m. to 5p.m., at the PBWDB office located at 2911 La Force Blvd., Midland, Texas or via the Internet at www.workforcepb.org.
